Notes

Per-property notes that stay with the property.

Jot down what you learned on the viewing. When your colleague visits next week, they see your notes. When you return in six months, your own context is right there.

  1. 1

    Open Notes

Notes sits in the sidebar alongside Tasks and Calendar on a desktop screen, and under More on a phone. Adding a note opens a drawer with a title field and a description field.

  2. 2

    Write it up

Fill in the title and description. The title becomes the drawer heading, so name it something you will still recognise in six months.

  3. 3

    Link it to the deal

Under Related to, attach the note to a contact and to a property. It then shows on that property's Overview tab, and the subheading carries both names.

  4. 4

    Grant access

Finish in Who has access. Add the colleagues, teams or offices who should be able to see it.

Per-property continuity

A note links to the contact and the property, so it stays on the record rather than on you, and survives staff turnover.

Questions

About Notes.

How do I control who sees a note?

Each note carries its own Who has access list, which you grant to named users, teams or offices. There are no private, team and agency presets, and workspace admins can see everything in the workspace.

Where do notes show up?

In Notes, which is a sidebar item on a desktop screen and sits under More on a phone, and inline on the records they are linked to. A property's Overview tab shows its notes five at a time with a show more, and a contact's Overview has its own Notes section.

Can one note cover both the buyer and the property?

Yes. The Related to section links a note to contacts and to properties at the same time, and the note's subheading then shows the contact and property names together.
